Playing at our friends Fourth of July BBQ

We droved to Pacific City one night and had dinner at a fun place on the beach. It was a beautiful night.

Loving the horse at the beach!

Today we went and had Sydney's hair cut at Little Clippers for kids to get her hair cut. It was so much fun for her (and me, as you can see I took a million pictures) Everything is made just for kids there. They have six different cars that the kids can choose from to sit in and get their hair cut. They also get to choose a video to watch while getting their hair cut. Then afterwards they have all kinds of things for the kids to play with for as long as they want to stay. Of course Sydney LOVED everything there and didnt ever want to leave! She played in the house and went down the slides and drove all the cars at least twice! She was in heaven! It was so cute! I was taking a million pictures just like a typical mom with her first child :) We had a great time. She even got a super cute certificate with a little sample of her hair on it. So fun to save in her baby book. We had to coax her into leaving with a sucker and a balloon. She would have stayed there all day!

She had to sit in every car!

Playing the video game.

This is the waiting area.

These are the cute cars that the kids get to sit in while they get their hair cut.

My blogging is kinda going backwards because we were out of a computer for so long, but oh well at least I am finally posting some pictures. We had a fun time at the tulip festival back in April. It didnt start to rain until we left. The tulips were amazing! Sydney loved it there. She ran all over the fields and picked a few tulips when I wasnt looking! She loved to smell them. Although smelling to her meant she also tasted them. It was pretty cute though. She was enjoying herself and I figured a little bite of a tulip wouldnt hurt her! Anyway, we had a great time and it made for some really cute photos.

Last month we went to see Sesame Street Live with our friends Lauren and Candice. I knew that it would be a big hit because Sydney is IN LOVE with Elmo!! Or, "Melmo" as she says it.. Anyway, I was right. She had the best time ever! She stood on my lap for the majority of the show and jumped and screamed and laughed like I have never seen before. It was by far one of the cutest moments ever! I dont think I have ever seen her so excited over something before. We had a great time!!

Loving the show!

Well it has been way too long since I updated this blog. In november our computer crashed and we were not able to get a new one until just about a month ago. So needless to say Iam very behind on things. Our little girl is changing so much these days. When I look back to the november posts I can hardly believe how much different she is today. She is no longer our baby, but more like our little girl. It makes me sad but happy at the same time. She is talking up a storm these days. She says so many words I cant even believe it. Every day she seems to learn a new one. Her favorites consist of Melmo (Elmo), Dora, yeah, woof-woof, mama, dada, and of course her newest addition, NO!! She is such a smart little girl. I cant believe how fast she learns. She loves to read books and one of her favorite books has many different animals and we practice saying all the different sounds they make. She knows sheep, horse, dog, cow, cat, and today she learned monkey! So cute!! She also LOVES Dora the Explorer. At the end of the show Dora always dances and Sydney laughes and dances with her every time. It is the cutest thing ever! She has also recently been very into her dolls. She pushes them around in their stroller all over the house and feeds them their milk and covers them with a blanket. She calls her dolls BaBa. Its so cute to watch her with them. Well it is getting late and I work in the AM, so more blogging later.
