While we were in Utah we had a unexpected visit from Grandma and Auntie Whitney. They just happen to be driving through to go to Idaho and we were in Salt Lake! It was so much fun. We were so happy to see them and grandma was in heaven to be able to see Sydney. For those who dont know Dave's parent live in Southern Utah which is about 5 hours from Salt Lake where my family lives so we dont get to visit them both at the same time. We were very excited to meet up in Salt Lake that day!
We went to see the movie Despicable Me while we were in Utah. The girls loved the movie and enjoyed the popcorn and cotton candy! It was such a fun time but by the time the movie got over it was pretty late and the girls were NOT into posing for a picture as you can see! We tried so hard and then finally they both just threw themselves on the ground and started screaming! It was hilarious. We did manage to get one picture of them sitting but my favorite one is the tantrum one. Ha!

We had such a fun time at Gardener Village in Utah. We went to a tea party at a doll shop. It was so much fun, the girls were able to bring their dolls and get them all dressed up and dress up themselves and have a fun little tea party. They had mini cupcakes, cookies, and "tea." They had a great time and we had so much fun watching them! I took about a million pictures!

Last weekend for the we went to the beach for the fourth of july. We stayed in Oceanside at our friends beautiful new beach house. We were very spoiled. The house was amazing. We stayed in the master suite with a king sized bed, plasma tv, jaquzi tub etc.. It was so nice. We never wanted to come home :) We played on the beach and went to the cheese factory in Tillamook. We met up with some friends on the fourth and went to a fun parade and then to a BBQ and fireworks that night. We had a great long weekend at the beach!
Today we went and had Sydney's hair cut at Little Clippers for kids to get her hair cut. It was so much fun for her (and me, as you can see I took a million pictures) Everything is made just for kids there. They have six different cars that the kids can choose from to sit in and get their hair cut. They also get to choose a video to watch while getting their hair cut. Then afterwards they have all kinds of things for the kids to play with for as long as they want to stay. Of course Sydney LOVED everything there and didnt ever want to leave! She played in the house and went down the slides and drove all the cars at least twice! She was in heaven! It was so cute! I was taking a million pictures just like a typical mom with her first child :) We had a great time. She even got a super cute certificate with a little sample of her hair on it. So fun to save in her baby book. We had to coax her into leaving with a sucker and a balloon. She would have stayed there all day!
