We are a bit behind with pictures these days because our computer has been down for a few weeks. A certain someone decided to break the modem into two pieces. We still love her anyway. She is pretty tough to get mad at... So, the halloween pictures are very late. Oh well, I had to post them anyway since they were so cute! We had a great halloween this year. Sydney was so adorable in her cute witch costume. Of course, she would not keep her hat on though. Little stinker. She was adorable anyway though. We had fun trick or treating with friends and going to a pizza party afterwards. It was a very fun day. We love halloween so much!!

Our little baby is officially a walker!!! She has been taking a few steps here and there but she walked across the room for the first time on October 1st, 2009. Of course she waited until all of our family left to start walking! Sorry Grandma! The first night she walked just a bit before she went to bed and then the next day she was walking all over the place. She looks like such a big girl now, we cant believe it. I will post some cute pics soon, but I had to write this down before I forgot the exact date.

We went to the Sauvie Island pumpkin patch today with our friends Susan and Cali. We had such a fun time, the weather was so nice and sunny! Fall is my favorite time of year and going to the pumpkin patch is my favorite fall acitivity. Sydney is becoming just like her mommy, she had a great time today! She was jumping up and down on my lap during the hayride and laughing! She loved the pumpkin fields, she wanted to stay and play with the pumpkins all day long. We had a great time today.

Wow it has been way too long since I updated this blog. I have a blackberry now and I usually check my email, facebook, etc on that so I have not been getting on the computer much lately. Not a good excuse at all. Our little girl is growing up so fast. She turned one on the 10th of September! I can not believe how fast a year has gone by. It really does seem like just yesterday that I was waddeling around with a giant belly and now here we are a year later! We are so blessed to have such a sweet little girl in our lives. She has truley changed our family in such a wonderful way. We really did not know what we were missing. We love her so much! We had lots of family come into town to celebrate with us. We love all of our family very much and we were really glad that so many of them were able to come. The party was a "polka dot" party. It turned out very cute! Everything was decorated with dots. The cake was my very favorite. I wanted to save it but it was too good to not eat! We had such a fun time at the party. We have been having such a great summer so far! I just wish that it did not go by so fast :( I love oregon but I really miss the sunny weather in the winter time. We have been having lots of pool parties with our friends and playing in our own pool in the back yard. Sydney loves water! She can play and entertain herself for hours! We also had a big event this past week. Our little girlie finally got her first tooth! Yeah! We have been wondering when they were going to pop up. I have not been good about writing in her journal or baby book lately so I have to write things down some where and sometimes blogging is the easiest way to do it. Her first tooth came in on July 17th, 2009! Here are some pics of our summer fun so far.

Last week we got home from visiting Dave's family in St. George, Utah (just north of Vegas). We had such a great time with everyone. The entire family was together for the first time in a few years. Dave's sister Cherise had not even seen Sydney yet so it was really fun for her especially. We all just hung out and enjoyed the warm weather all week. It was around 105 or warmer every day! We pretty much just laid in the pool and ate all week long! Sydney had a great time with all of her aunts and grandma spoiling her and I was loving it cause I had so much help. Its during trips like that you realize how nice it would be to live close to family. We miss them so much and really wish that they could be closer to us. Sydney is changing and growing so much. She loved the pool and the bouncer that grandma got her. She was splashing around in the pool at least once or twice every day! It was so fun to watch her.

We had a fun time the other day with our friends, Hannah, Hailey, and Amy. It was a nice sunny day so we decided to have a picnic in the backyard. We had lots of fun and the girls loved running around the lawn and playing in the sun!
