We had a fun time the other day with our friends, Hannah, Hailey, and Amy. It was a nice sunny day so we decided to have a picnic in the backyard. We had lots of fun and the girls loved running around the lawn and playing in the sun!

We had a great Fathers Day this year. We went to church in the morning and then came home and had Dave's favorite dinner and then just hung out and relaxed. Sydney was just playing around on the floor with her toys like usual and just decided that she was going to crawl for the first time!! It was so exciting! She has been scooting around for a while and up on all fours but she has never actually crawled. It was so cute! It is so funny how it just clicks and they do it. She is crawling all over the place now. Of course I was the typical first mommy and had to take a million pictures and video and could not stop talking about it all day! It was a great fathers day present for her daddy. She is officially on the move now! Watch out!

My sweet little "Serious Sydney" You gotta love it!

This one and the one before are my favorites!

On memorial day weekend I was working so Dave was taking care of Sydney. He and some friends were hanging out on their boats having a BBQ. One of Dave's friends wifes is a photographer and she had her camera with her and took some awesome pictures of Sydney and Dave! We love them! She was so nice to give us all the photos. Here is a few of our favorites.

Here they are two peas in a pod like usual. Sydney has her eye on that dirty dog toy! Some how she always manages to get it when Iam not looking!

Okay so I said that I would do this blog like a journal so here goes. Our little girl is nine months old just a few days ago. Wow! Time goes by so fast. You dont even get to enjoy it before its over. She is changing so much every day. She is almost crawling now. She is up on all fours and rocking. Although she is not crawling on her own yet she manages to get around very well. She scoots all over the place. Today I left her in the living room for a minute and she managed to scoot all the way off the carpet and bonk her head on the hardwood floors. I felt sooooo horrible. She has a goose-egg bruise on her forehead! Poor little girl! Lets just say that I will not be leaving her alone at all anymore. She is now officially mobile! No more sitting her in one place and finding her there when I come back. Oh well. It was nice while it lasted though. She has also recently become very interested in our dog Sadie. She has always been okay with Sadie but now she really wants to get close to her and pull her ears, hair, etc! Bless her heart, Sadie is so patient. She is getting old and honestly I think that she just likes the attention. Anyway, Sadie and Sydney are buds on the carpet now. I just wish Sadie did not shed so much!

This past weekend we went to our friends wedding. We had a really fun time. This is my favorite picture of Sydney and I.

Sydney at Sand Island with Dave on Memorial Day weekend. I had to work :(
Okay, so I said that I would never do a blog but here Iam starting one now! I have been trying to keep a journal about Sydney and all of the new things that she is learning every day but I am having a hard time finding time to write in it very often. I figured that this would be a good way to keep a journal for our family and all the changes and fun stuff that our little girl is doing every day!
